The world is such an awesome place.

I've travelled quite a lot and always keep a camera (or 5) with me. Some people believe that photographing one's travels somehow dilutes the 'actual' experience. I feel that forming a relationship with a foreign (or familiar) place is facilitated by the process of photographing it, considering it's particular qualities and experiences and how you fit within that. I have travelled through South Eastern Africa extensively, and having been born in South Africa and lived there for 16 years, have a very special relationship with this continent. The African portfolio is in progress, so watch this space. I will also add a portfolio on France and Scotland. The current travel portfolios are skeletal at this stage, but will develop.
